Your team is drowning in admin
Quotes retyped from emails. Invoices chased by memory. Reports rebuilt by hand every month. The work that wins customers keeps queueing behind the work that just has to get done.
Omega AI helps Tasmanian small and medium businesses cut hours out of admin, quoting, reporting and customer follow-up — with practical AI your team will actually use. No hype, no rip-and-replace, no data leaving the country without your say-so.
Quotes retyped from emails. Invoices chased by memory. Reports rebuilt by hand every month. The work that wins customers keeps queueing behind the work that just has to get done.
Someone had a play, got a few impressive answers, then went back to the old way. Without your real templates, your real data and a reason to open it on a Tuesday, nothing sticks.
Every vendor has an AI badge and a monthly fee. You need someone who will tell you plainly which of it is useful for your business, and which of it you can safely ignore this year.
Two weeks. We map how the work actually flows, rank where AI pays back first, and hand you a costed 90-day roadmap.

Role-specific, hands-on sessions using your own documents — plus a prompt library and a usage policy your team can follow.

The hours below are indicative estimates for a business of 5–50 staff, based on typical Australian SMB admin loads. We measure your real baseline before promising anything.
Every quote rebuilt from scratch in Word, two days after the enquiry.
A drafted quote from the enquiry email and your price list, ready for your review in minutes.
4–8 hrs/week indicative estimate
Enquiries sit unanswered over a busy week; nobody is sure who replied.
Incoming mail sorted, summarised and drafted for a human to check and send the same day.
3–6 hrs/week indicative estimate
The same five questions get asked of the same busy person all day.
An internal assistant that answers from your own documents, with links to the source.
2–5 hrs/week indicative estimate
Month-end means exporting, pasting and reformatting the same spreadsheets.
Figures pulled and drafted into your report format, with exceptions flagged for a human.
4–10 hrs/month indicative estimate
New starters wait on forms, inductions and checklists that live in three places.
Packs generated, reminders sent, records filed — with a person signing off each step.
2–4 hrs/week indicative estimate
The Scorecard takes about two minutes and gives you a banded readiness result with three specific next steps. Nothing is sent anywhere — it is all worked out in your browser.
We sit with the people doing the work, map the workflow as it really runs, and put a number on what it costs today. That number becomes your baseline.
One narrow use case, run on real work for a short window. If it doesn’t beat the baseline, we say so and stop — that is a cheap, useful answer.
Training for the people who use it, a written policy for what goes in and what doesn’t, and a runbook so it survives you being on leave.
We re-measure against the baseline and write down the outcome in plain English: hours, cost, error rate, turnaround time. Then we choose the next thing.
Launceston based. We can be in your office, on the floor, with your team — not a support ticket in another time zone.
Twenty-plus years in IT support and training means the hard part — adoption — is the part we are best at. Tools are easy. People need teaching well.
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace already include a lot. We exhaust what you own before recommending anything new with a monthly fee attached.
We measure before, measure after, and write it down. If a project doesn’t pay for itself, you will read that from us before you read it in your accounts.
Before anything touches customer data we agree, in writing, which tools are approved, what may be put into them, and where that data is stored.
No twelve-month transformation programs. One workflow, proven, embedded and measured — then the next one, funded by the first.
Engagements start at $1,500 + GST for an AI Opportunity Audit and $2,400 + GST for a half-day on-site team workshop. Automation builds start at $6,500 + GST. Ongoing advisory is $1,800 + GST a month.
Prices exclude GST. Travel outside Northern Tasmania quoted separately.
If yours isn’t here, it is a good first question for the call.
Probably not. The sweet spot is 5–50 staff, where one or two people carry most of the admin load and there is no in-house IT team. Under five staff, a half-day workshop and a prompt library often does more than any build.
That gets decided before anything is built, and written down. Depending on your obligations we can keep processing within your existing Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenancy, choose services with Australian data regions, or exclude sensitive categories of data from AI tools entirely.
Omega AI does not provide legal advice. Where your obligations are complex — health, legal, finance, government contracts — we write the technical position and you have your adviser check it.
Often not much. Most businesses already pay for capability they never turned on. We start there, and only recommend new tools where the payback is clear and the licence cost is named up front.
We assume it will, sometimes. Every workflow we build has a human review point before anything reaches a customer or the books, plus monitoring so failures are visible rather than silent. Where a task cannot tolerate an error and cannot be reviewed, we do not automate it.
For an Audit: roughly four to six hours of your team’s time across two weeks, mostly short interviews. For an Automation Sprint: about an hour a week from one nominated owner, plus a testing window near the end.
Yes. On site across Northern Tasmania, regularly in Hobart and the North West, and Australia-wide for online workshops and advisory. Travel outside Northern Tasmania is quoted separately.
Tell us the one job in your week that eats the most time. We will tell you honestly whether AI helps, what it would take, and roughly what it would cost — or that it isn’t worth doing yet.
